Bobby Caldwell has been a good friend of mine for a number of years. I fell in love with his writing, singing, & production skills on his debut album which had the hit song "What You Won't Do for Love".
I met him a few years later, & we hit it off. In 1982, I was hired as a soundtrack producer of songs for the nighttime soap Falcon Crest. I immediately called Bobby to co-write material for the show that year.
After that, we collaborated on a song for a Neil Diamond's "Headed For the Future" album titled "Love Doesn't Live Here Anymore" (link below). We kept in touch after that.

Sadly, Bobby has been dealing with health issues over the last few years, & I haven't been able to reach him. I miss him, & hope I'll be able to see him again soon.
